How Avenyora calculates a birth chart

Astronomical calculations happen before interpretation, using date, time, coordinates and timezone information.

Calculation inputs

Avenyora converts local birth time into UTC using the selected IANA timezone, then calculates the Sun, Moon and planetary longitudes. The ascendant is calculated from sidereal time, latitude and longitude.

Unknown birth times

When a birth time is unknown, Avenyora uses a noon estimate and labels time-sensitive placements as lower confidence. Rising sign and houses should not be treated as exact in that mode.

Interpretation boundary

The astronomy engine produces structured positions. AI may explain those positions in plain language, but it does not alter or invent placements.
